Pricing
Free where it should be free.
Tracking your assignments is not a premium feature. Neither is getting your data back out, and neither is an import that refuses to duplicate your deadlines — that is correctness, and correctness is not an upsell. What costs money is the work that happens while you are not looking: reminders that fire on time, and a history you can reach back into.
Tracker
Forever. No account required.
- The whole tracker: table, calendar, list and board views
- Unlimited courses and assignments
- Update imports with a full change preview, so re-importing never duplicates
- Undoing your most recent import
- CSV and .ics export — your data leaves whenever you want
- No cap on tasks, courses or terms
Automation
Cancel from the settings page in one click. Seven-day trial.
- Scheduled email reminders, daily or weekly, in your timezone
- Full change history — restore any single edit, or undo any past import
- Reminder digests that link straight back to the assignment
- Everything in the free tracker, unchanged
No annual plan yet. Paying twelve months up front for software that has not proved it keeps working for a whole term is a bad deal for you, so we are not selling one.
What cancelling does
Nothing you made goes away.
| After you cancel | Still works | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Your assignments and classes | Yes | Untouched. Nothing is deleted or hidden. |
| Table, calendar, list and board views | Yes | The whole tracker stays available. |
| CSV and .ics export | Yes | Export is never gated. Take your data whenever. |
| Update imports with a change preview | Yes | Diffing is correctness, not a premium feature. It never goes away. |
| Undoing your most recent import | Yes | The escape hatch from a bad paste is always free. |
| Scheduled email reminders | No | They stop at the end of the paid period. |
| Restore from further back in history | No | History is still recorded and visible — restoring old changes is the paid part. |
Questions
Why $5?
It is the number we are testing, openly. Comparable tools sit between $3 and $10 a month. If it turns out students will not pay $5 for reminders and deep history, the right conclusion is that this should not be a subscription — not that the price should be hidden behind a trial funnel.
Why is re-import diffing free when it is the hardest part to build?
Because the alternative is a free user pasting an updated sheet and getting every deadline twice. That is worse than the spreadsheet they arrived with, and it would make the free tier untrustworthy — which is the tier almost everyone will judge this on. Correctness is not a lever to price against.
Is there a student discount?
Everyone here is a student. A discount off a $5 price would be theatre.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — email and it is refunded, no questions. There is a seven-day trial specifically so this should rarely come up.
Will the free tier get worse later?
The four things listed as free forever are a commitment: the full tracker, unlimited items, all four views and both exports. If that changes, existing accounts keep what they signed up with.
What happens to my data if the product shuts down?
You would get notice and an export. This is a small product with a real chance of not working out; the export being free and complete from day one is the practical protection against that.
